The Eastern Cape offers the visitor a world of diversities in a malaria free environment. Conservation areas include the Mountain Zebra National Park near Cradock.

The Addo Elephant National Park  close to Port Elizabeth, boast the most concentrated elephant reserve in Africa. Close to Addo is the world renowned Shamwari Private Game Reserve.
